玛丽·奥利弗（Mary Oliver）：一生嫁给了神奇的新娘

上午去学校清理办公室，在一个尘封已久的纸箱里有个薄薄的笔记本，上面抄写的全是玛丽·奥利弗（Mary Oliver）的诗句。很久没有听到她的消息了，赶紧上网Google，原来老人家已经仙逝两年，我呆坐许久，心里五味杂陈。

玛丽是我最喜欢的当代美国诗人，她的诗探索着自然与精神世界的神奇关系，灵性横溢却富有哲理，情绪低落时，读她的诗总能获得救赎。
 
玛丽童年生长在一个糟糕的原生家庭，敏感又年幼的她在诗歌里找到了一个美丽新世界，她从13岁就开始写诗，之后70年写作成了她唯一的事业。她年轻时上过两所大学，但都仅读了一年就放弃了。她，是美国最受欢迎的诗人之一；她，曾获普利策奖和美国国家图书奖；她，五十年代就公开同性恋取向并和伴侣相伴终生。

1. 当死神光临的时候

When Death Comes

When it’s over, I want to say all my life

I was a bride married to amazement.

or full of argument.

2. 冬天的边缘

Wild Geese

You do not have to be good.

You do not have to walk on your knees

for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.

You only have to let the soft animal of your body

love what it loves.

the world offers itself to your imagination,

calls to you like the wild geese,

harsh and exciting —

over and over announcing your place

in the family of things.
